Oyster Bay Main Street's 2023 Facade & Sign Grant

We are currently raising funds for the
11th cycle of our Facade and Sign Grant!

We began this small grant as a means to help business owners and building owners in the downtown with small improvements while simultaneously keeping true to our design guidelines.  This grant serves as an incentive for businesses to avoid cheap flashy signs, allowing them to draw attention to their businesses with with well designed, durable signs to last them for years to come. 

Since the grant was first initiated in 2013:

• 70 new and existing businesses in the downtown have received grants providing funds to secure signs, awnings and new lighting for their businesses and buildings
• Through these individual grants, we have invested over $133,000 into our downtown and have successfully used those funds to leverage an additional investment of over $237,000 from the private sector - for a total investment of over $370,000 into our downtown commercial district as a whole.
