Our Internship Program
The Oyster Bay Main Street Association's internship program provides aspiring individuals with valuable hands-on experience and a deep understanding of community revitalization, through economic development, community engagement, marketing and promotions, and fundraising efforts. Through this program, interns will have the opportunity to actively engage with various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the charm and vitality of Oyster Bay's downtown area.

Interns will coordinate directly with staff, board members, and volunteers and are encouraged to develop and contribute strategies to improve current processes within the organization and non-profit industry at large.
The internship schedule offers flexibility, but candidates are expected to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week. Additionally, arrangements can be made for candidates seeking to earn degree credit. All internship opportunities can be tailored to meet degree credit requirements and compensation can be adjusted accordingly.
