Message From the President
Greetings!
As of January 2017, I took over as president of OBMSA succeeding John Bonifacio after his 5-year tenure. Prior to becoming President, I served on the Board for four years ( joining shortly before the birth of my twin boys, John and James) and am very excited to continue to lead OBMSA, as we proceed with our mission to enhance and promote a thriving downtown in the Hamlet of Oyster Bay!
As a full time resident of Oyster Bay, whose family has lived here for what seems like forever, I watched my father, Fritz Coudert, in his later years become an engaged citizen and active philanthropist in Oyster Bay, getting involved in almost every aspect of the town. He was from a time and generation where he truly believed that if he had a worthy idea, he could simply find a way to make it happen. It didn’t always make him popular, but he managed to get the WaterFront Center built, was integral in commissioning the TR Statue at the head of Oyster Bay, also supported the Life Enrichment Center, the OB-EN Boys and Girls Club, the Historical Society, and so much more.
He instilled in my sister and me the belief that it was both our obligation and privilege to get involved and give back to our communities. I hope to be able to accomplish some of that vision in my current role at OBMSA!
Warmest regards,
Sandra Coudert Graham
