We believe a clean, attractive hamlet benefits everyone – it boosts local business, fosters community pride, and makes Oyster Bay a welcoming place to live and visit. Our Beautification Committee, made up of passionate community volunteers, leads ongoing efforts to spruce up downtown.
Clean Sweep Initiative & Community Clean Ups
With support from local landscaping partners, we conduct regular street cleanings. Every other week, our team sweeps sidewalks, picks up litter, weeds, and keeps our public spaces tidy. These efforts ensure our historic Audrey Avenue and our hamlet look their best year-round.

Hanging Basket Campaign
Each spring, we transform downtown with beautiful hanging flower baskets on lampposts. These blooms add color and charm all season long
Community members and businesses can sponsor a flower basket to help cover costs – making Oyster Bay bloom
Education & Civic Pride
We don’t just clean up; we also encourage everyone – businesses, residents, and local government – to play a role in keeping Oyster Bay beautiful. By spreading awareness about litter, proper signage, and property upkeep, we foster a sense of civic pride. It’s a team effort
