The Main Street Association has played an active role helping move forward plans for preservation of the historic Oyster Bay Railroad Station - home station of President Theodore Roosevelt.

Plans have been prepared thanks in part to a New York State grant that the Main Street Association helped to administer. Results of this grant include completion of a Historic Structures Report for the Railroad Station and development of plans for the Railroad Plaza area surrounding the station.
