Oyster Bay History Walk

The Oyster Bay Main Street Association (OBMSA) is dedicated to enhancing and promoting an attractive and thriving downtown, while maintaining its historic integrity. We are a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit using the national Main Street™ Approach to downtown revitalization. Oyster Bay has a rich history reaching back to 1654 and before. At one time this was the home of Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States. Located on the North Shore of Long Island, Oyster Bay boasts of historic buildings, a beautiful waterfront, and great restaurants and shops. A year-round calendar of events offers fun and excitement for residents and visitors alike.
